Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ShineGTM collects when you visit shinegtm.com or ask us for an intro call, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

ShineGTM LLC ("ShineGTM") is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and also available in Alameda, California. We are a fractional CRO and revenue operations firm. In this policy, "ShineGTM," "we," and "us" mean that business. You can reach us at hello@shinegtm.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you fill out the intro form, we receive your name, work email, company, role, a description of what you need help with, how you heard about us, and optionally your preferred call times. If you book a call through our calendar page, Google Calendar receives your name, email address, and the time you choose, and shares them with us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect usage information such as the pages you view, the links you click, how you arrived (for example, a search or a referral), your approximate location based on your IP address, and basic device and browser details. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies for this. We also record an event when an intro form is submitted or the booking button is clicked, so we can see whether the site is working, but those events do not include what you typed into the form or the details you enter when you book.

We do not ask for payment information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not include any in the form.

How we use information

• To read and reply to your intro request, and to schedule and hold calls.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To keep the site secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to send you advertising from third parties. If you contact us about our services, we may follow up with you about that request.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for them to do that:

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the intro form and delivers it to our email inbox.
• Google provides Google Analytics, serves the fonts the site uses (Google Fonts), and runs our booking calendar (Google Calendar appointment scheduling). Google receives your IP address and browser details when your browser loads these, and the details you enter when you book a time.
• GitHub hosts the site and may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of delivering it.
• Our email provider stores messages sent to hello@shinegtm.com.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to valid legal requests, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

Cookies and analytics choices

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising, so a Global Privacy Control signal does not change how the site works. The site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we turn Google Analytics storage off by default, so it does not set analytics cookies in your browser, and we do not offer a way to switch it on. The site works without cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep intro requests and email correspondence for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records, and then delete them when they are no longer needed. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to give you a copy, or to stop using it for certain purposes. If you live in California, these rights come from the California Consumer Privacy Act. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under data protection law, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email hello@shinegtm.com from the address you used with us. We may need to confirm it is you before acting. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This site is for business customers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security and where data is processed

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no website or email system is completely secure. Our providers are based in the United States, so information you give us may be processed there.

Links to other sites

The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
